While some people's walk in the Christian life is remarkably steady, others experience a lot of ups and downs in their faith. Even (and perhaps especially) after a wonderful, memorable experience of God's faithfulness and our own obedience, it's possible to lapse into sin of various kinds. This was the experience of the patriarch Jacob, who after his amazing experience wrestling with God and being renamed Israel, failed to return to Bethel as he had promised and instead mingled with the wicked inhabitants of Canaan, with disastrous results. Join us as Pastor Reggie Sanchez continues Jacob's story in Genesis, taking warning from his failure but also seeing God's incredible mercy in raising him up to faith once more.
