September 29, 2019 Genesis 22:19-28 Reggie Sanchez
As the Genesis account moves from Abraham's story to that of Isaac, we find that Isaac's life is recorded in far less detail than his father's. After his marriage to Rebekah, the one major event remembered from his adult life is the birth of his two sons. A miraculous conception, reminiscent of Sarah's and serving to reaffirm the covenant, results in a lifetime -- and indeed a national history -- of conflict between the twin boys. Join us as Reggie Sanchez continues discussing the birth of Isaac's sons and the sovereignty of God as he chooses, calls, and saves His covenant people for His own good purposes.
