One of the most common aspects of the Christian life is the need to wait on the Lord. For a long or short period of time, for important or mundane issues, in every situation it takes great faith to wait for God's calling, timing and provision. In Abraham's life the case was no different, as he had to wait most of his life for God's promises to him to be fulfilled.
